Congratulations to Niamh and Kieran Desmond and their dog Bobby, the 10th winners of our PAWS-SOME Club. Niamh chose Bobby to represent them in the draw while he sat on her lap during one of the Paws bingo events earlier in the year. They have him to thank for the €250 Amazon voucher!
As told by Niamh and Kieran – “Bobby came to us as a puppy two years ago to keep our beloved Harvey, also a Cavapoo, company. Unfortunately they didn’t have much time together as Harvey crossed the rainbow bridge when Bobby was about six months old. Bobby was a godsend during that period as we were both heartbroken from losing Harvey. Bobby helped to rebuild our spirits with his affection and antics.
Since then Bobby has joined us on the ferry journey from Ireland to Spain and loves travelling. His favourite place, besides the bingo event where he receives loads of attention, is running along the beach picking up stones and shells to add to his collection. It’s also not unusual for Bobby to visit many of the cafes along the playa and sit on our lap taking in the views and scents, he’s always ready to go when we pick up the car keys!”
Bobby has insisted his share of the winnings go towards his buddies at the shelter so he will be purchasing items from the Paws-Patas Amazon wish list. Niamh and Kieran have promised to pick up a toy or two for him also.
