We received this from his new owners:

"Thought it appropriate to provide you with an update regarding Taiko, rescue German Shorthaired Pointer we had from PAWS in March, according to his passport it’ll be his 1st birthday on the 28th June.

He’s settled in really well, took us about a week to get into a routine of eating, sleeping and walks.

He gets on really well with the other dogs that family members have and is quite sociable when we’re out, although he can be a bit of a handful and excitable around meeting other people/dogs!

We’re currently going to a local obedience class, more for me I have to say, the learning curve for keeping a Hunt/Point/Retrieve is a steep one but we’re getting there!

We spent a week wild camping in the Outer Hebrides with a mate and his dog, took to it like duck to water!"
