Take home a shelter dog
All our animals are neutered when they are old enough.
For dogs being homed in Spain
All our animals are fully vaccinated. However young puppies may still be undergoing their initial vaccination program. They will have been thoroughly examined by our vet, and treated for internal and external parasites.
The standard treatment for all animals includes: worming, flea & tick treatment, puppy vaccination, 1st adult vaccination, 2nd adult vaccination, blood test for Leishmaniosis, Ehrlichiosis and Babesiosis, Rabies vaccination; and an International travel pet passport. All adult animals are spayed or neutered.
If you are interested in adopting a dog, please complete, an adoption form. Not all the dogs are kept at the shelter, some are in foster care. To facilitated viewing the dogs your are interested in, a volunteer will be in touch after receiving the adoption form.
This is an expensive process. On adoption of a dog we ask for a small donation to help offset the costs of the animal’s medical treatment during the time it has stayed with us.
The minimum cost is:
Adult dogs and puppies are
180€ (this includes rabies vaccination and passport). An additional transfer fee might apply if the dog has already been micro-chipped and needs re-registering with the new owner.
Please Note: Puppies under six months are too young to be neutered so you will receive a 20% discount voucher voucher to have the dog neutered at Clinivet in Turre. The voucher is valid until the puppy is 9 months of age..
