SUMMARY:Hotel La Resistance returns!!
DESCRIPTION:After almost 3 years…Shoestring Productions are back and are going to perform their fifth play in\n“The Hotel La Resistance Trilogy”…\n“GRABBED BY THE TROUSERS”\nWRITTEN BY SUE OSMAN\n\n\nA farce created by local esteemed maestro James Dale-Grey who lives in Mojácar and is 90 on 27th May. The scene is set in early 1943 and life continues as best it can in the German occupied village of Orolon\, France.\n\n\nFor those of you who have never experienced the thrill of meeting Claudette\, Fifi\, Crepe Suzette\, Martine\, Clara\, Albert\, Franz\, Gonzo and possibly a sheep\, it really doesn’t matter.\nJust accept the fact that it is a farce and not at all politically correct! Yet again\, at the hotel\, moves are afoot – but nobody really knows what the moves are\, or in fact whose foot it is!\nBest thing is…you just sit back and enjoy this madcap silliness\, whilst they do their best to try and understand it themselves!!!\nPerformances at Tito’s Space in Mojácar…chairs are provided.\n\n\nAs always\, Shoestring like to create an intimate theatre experience so there are only 56 tickets available for each performance.\nFriday 30th May @ 7:30\nSaturday 31st May at 3:30\nSunday 1st June @ 7:30\nDoors open 30 minutes before “curtain up” The bar will be open 30 minutes before the performance and during the interval.\nTickets are €10.\nAvailable from: Utopia\, The Lemon Lounge and PAWS-PATAS in Mojácar\nAll proceeds will be supporting PAWS-PATAS who will also have a raffle at each performance

SUMMARY:EGM 26 March 2025
DESCRIPTION:Last year we appointed a new lawyer to support the Executive Committee and as a result\, we discovered that we had not recorded the resignation of some members of the Executive Committee from previous years and therefore the election of the 3 vocals held on 31st July\, 2024 could not be formally added to the Register of Directors held by the Junta. \nIn addition\, we have made some changes internally and therefore we have decided to hold an EGM to rectify the situation. \nAt this EGM we will also be proposing to make some changes to the Statutes\, to bring them in line with our aims and practices\, taking into account the New Animal Welfare Law\, which was published in September 2023 and to ensure that the 4 Officer roles are covered legally\, should we lose an Officer\, for whatever reason. \nAttached is the Invitation to attend the EGM Invitation\, the Agenda for the EGM Agenda\, the Minutes from the EGM held on 31st July\, 2024 EGM Minutes 31/07/2024 together with a copy of the new\, proposed Statutes Draft Statutes \nBelow in “bold” are the significant changes we are proposing to make to the Statutes:
