"Hi My name is Ruth and I come from the UK and as of Sunday will be 58 years young!

I have lived in La Alfoquia for nearly 2 years now (a village about 35 minute drive inland from Mojacar) and I  really enjoy my life here!

Now that I am retired I wanted to do something voluntary and I love dogs so it was an easy choice for me and wow it's been so incredible to be able to do something so positive and spend time with the lovely dogs at PAWS-PATAS!

It has given me a purpose and fulfilled me more than I can say - I love it yep even the dirty bits!! but cleaning feeding and engaging with the dogs makes it really special and so worthwhile.

I've met some lovely people here too and there is a great atmosphere at PAWS-PATAS. I would thoroughly recommend anyone who has a love of dogs come and see what it's all about, you'll get a great welcome and make a difference to the lives of so many dogs and your own."
